Class Descriptions

Creative Movement: Children will be introduced to the fundamentals of creative movement and ballet, allowing them to delve into the exploration of movement characteristics, motor skills, and socialization abilities.

Pre Ballet 1: Dancers are acquainted with a class structure designed to ready them for an authentic ballet class. During this preparation, dancers acquire knowledge of posture, placement, and various stretching techniques.

Foundations: In this class dancers engage in exercises that escalate in formality, encompassing both barre and center work.

Ballet 1: This class is crafted to enhance coordination, balance and form. Dancers initiate practice at an elevated pace.

Ballet 2: This class is tailored for dancers at the intermediate-advanced level, featuring intricate center combinations.

Contemporary: This class combines technical training with flowing, expressive movement. Dancers will refine their technique, improve flexibility with comprehensive stretching exercises, and explore the art of contemporary dance.

Adult Open Ballet Class: This class will fine tune the basic principles of ballet while introducing more advanced steps at the barre and centre.

Jazz Fusion Class: Unleash your inner dancer in this high-energy, feel-good class that blends jazz technique with contemporary flair! Each session begins with a dynamic dance-based warm-up to get your body moving and heart pumping, followed by targeted strengthening and flexibility exercises to build control, tone, and fluidity. Then, dive into learning an expressive and fun routine that changes regularly, giving you the chance to explore musicality, emotion, and style. Whether you’re returning to dance or just getting started, this class is designed to challenge, uplift, and inspire you—no matter your level.

*No street shoes for this class. Please wear either jazz shoes, ballet slippers, or socks/bare feet.*
